WP Suomi is only possible thanks to the kind people who volunteer to make it happen. Volunteering is a great way to contribute to WordPress and the event is a good opportunity to network. So would you like to help organise WP Suomi 2026?
As a volunteer you’ll give back to community by helping event day’s tasks such as registration, welcoming guests and various presentation track related tasks. Special skills are not required but if you have some (like photography) they can be used. As a volunteer you get free ticket to the event and easy way to get to network with people.

These are some of the volunteer roles
- Time keeping: inform the speakers about their remaining time at their talk
- Mic runner: give the microphone to the audience during the sessions Q&A
- Speaker assistant: guide and help speakers to prepare for their talk
- Stage manager: announcing and managing the tracks during the event
- Photography: take photographs of the event
- Videography: use the provided gear to record all sessions
- Technical assistant: help with cameras and recording
We will need most of the volunteers to be available on 16. October. If you can help on Thursday 15. October also, that would be great!
