It’s now been a while since WP Suomi 2025 and we have processed the pictures and videos we have from that day.

We released previously a small selection of pictures from event and here’s a bigger collection that was taken by our volunteers. The photographers’ names are tagged to pictures so remember to mention them when using the pictures.

We recorded presentations and workshops. Then we’ve edited the material and separated sessions to their own videos. Now we have started uploading the videos to our YouTube channel. There’s a lot of stuff scheduled to be released.

WP Suomi 2025 is now over and here’s a summary of the day, thank yous and what happens next.

WP Suomi 2026?

Next big WP event in Finland is not announced yet. The popularity of this event does show that there is still demand for events about WordPress.

We’d like to present our first group of speakers. Meet our speakers giving long form presentations we call Sisu Talks named by Finnish spirit of resilience.

We’re looking for volunteers to help us organize event day. Join us to give back to community and to have unique opportunities to network.

No special skills are necessary but there are some opportunities if you are into photography for example. See the different types of tasks and send an application.

The ticket sales for WP Suomi 2025 will start on Monday August 4th at 08:00 GMT. That’s 11:00 in Finland, 10:00 in Denmark / Sweden / Norway.

The regular ticket price is 25€. If you want to help us make this event even better, you could buy micro sponsor ticket for 100€, which is the real cost per attendee. It will have all regular ticket perks, and additionally, your name will be added to the WP Suomi Hall of Fame.

We’re looking for passionate speakers for this year’s conference, held in Helsinki. Join us to share your knowledge, gain new insights, and be part of an inspiring community.

As a speaker, you’re free to choose any topic you’re passionate about. The only restriction: no sales pitches or promotional talks.

The event will feature one main track and a dedicated workshop area for small groups of up to 20 participants. Talks can range from 10 to 45 minutes. All sessions will be held in English.

WP Suomi is an independent, volunteer-organized event that brings together WordPress enthusiasts around Finland and Nordics.

What?

One day conference with presentations, workshops, networking and after-party. Content will be planned for all skill levels, employment types and interests in mind. Whether you are a freelancer, running an agency, working in one, just learning WordPress or thinking of career in the field – WP Suomi is for you!

When and where?

The event will be held on 10.10.2025 at Helsinki, Finland.

Who organizes?

WP Suomi is organized by independent volunteers from Finnish community that are from various backgrounds and work for various companies. This is not an official WordCamp or other WordPress Foundation powered event.

We are supported by Koodia Suomesta ry but the costs of hosting the conference are taken care of by ticket sales and sponsors (call for sponsors opens up later).
