WP Suomi is only possible thanks to the kind people who volunteer to make it happen. Volunteering is a great way to contribute to WordPress and the event is a good opportunity to network. So would you like to help organise WP Suomi 2025?
As a volunteer you’ll give back to community by helping event day’s tasks such as registration, welcoming guests and various presentation track related tasks. Special skills are not required but if you have some (like photography) they can be used. As a volunteer you get free ticket to the event and easy way to get to network with people.
What you get for helping us:

These are some of the volunteer roles:
- Registration: check in the attendees
- Speaker room manager
- Photography: take photographs of the event
- Videography: use the provided gear to record all sessions;
- Time keeping: inform the speakers about their remaining time at their talk
- Mic runner: give the microphone to the audience during the sessions Q&A
- Venue manager: announcing and managing the tracks during the event
We will need most of the volunteers to be available on 10. October. If you can help on Thursday 9. October also, that would be great!
