Side events are unofficial gatherings organized independently by conference attendees who wish to host a meetup or get-togethers during WP Suomi. While the organizers of these events agree to follow the Code of Conduct, the official WP Suomi team is not involved in their planning or execution.

Get a head start on the conference by joining us for an unofficial preparty, hosted and organized by Seravo! This casual meetup is the perfect way to kick off the conference and connect with fellow WordPress enthusiasts. The preparty happens on Thursday, October 9 at Surf House Helsinki, conveniently located in Mall of Tripla, just a short walk from the WP Suomi venue. We’ll start the evening at 7pm, and the Surf House is ours until 10pm. Enjoy an evening of relaxed networking, good company, and great conversation. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided! The preparty is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends before the main event. Can’t wait to see you there! We’ll review all submitted side event proposals and publish those that are approved. To be approved, your event should be open and accessible to all WP Suomi participants and help foster community and connection. The event must be held between October 9–11, 2025. Thursday after working hours, Friday 5-8pm between actual main event and the after-party, and Saturday are good times to organize an side event. All side events are expected to follow the Code of Conduct.
